Today, Silicon Valley Lions helped pack food baskets full of canned goods, staples and fresh produce to be distributed along with frozen chickens to hundreds of needy San José families.

At tonight’s regular club meeting, the Hon. Margaret Abe-Koga, Mayor of Mountain View, spoke about the State of the City 2009. She discussed the city’s financial condition, significant accomplishments of the past year, and future plans. The Mayor was welcomed into the club as an Honorary Lion and pledged her support for club service projects.
